Marquette Catholic High School, a coeducational institution of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois, offers quality education in the Catholic tradition to families of all backgrounds. The athletic department at Marquette won $13,000 by writing a grant for the " Recover with Chocolate Milk" promotion through the Midwest Dairy Council this spring. The grant was to show how Marquette would promote better nutrition in high school athletes by providing them with 16 oz of chocolate milk within one-half hour of practice, workouts and competitions.

Marquette is working with the Midwest Dairy Council and Athletic Director, Jerry Montague , to implement the new chocolate milk program. They will use the money to help the athletic department with training machines, a new computer, trophy cases by the gym and of course, chocolate milk for all.

Mr. Jerry Montague and a few members of the MCHS golf team filmed a short video to show how drained they get during their golf practices in the hot sun. They showed how chocolate milk would rejunvenate their muscles and bones and help them recover from their long days on the course. Take a look at the winning video. and " DRINK CHOCOALTE MILK!!"
