Congratulations to Coach Dan Wiedman on being named Spring 2010 Riverbend All-Star Small School Coach of the Year.
Alexis Silkwood was also honored on the 2010 Illinois coaches Association First Team All-State Team, received an honorable mention on the Chicago Tribune All State Team, and honored on the Post-Dispatch All-Metro First Team.

The Marquette Softball Program is comprised of Varsity and Junior Varsity squads. The Varsity plays 30-35 games a year and competes in the South Central West Conference, while the Junior Varsity plays approximately 20-25 games per season. The team captured the South Central West Conference Championship in 1999, 2000, and 2001. They won Regional Championships in 1990, 1991, 2000, 2002, and 2003. They also captured the Sectional championship in 1991 and advanced to the state finals. This is a goal-orientated program that stresses hard work, effort, and teamwork, as well as having fun.
